Camden Workshop

Residential project in Kentish Town, London.

Studio Iro was commissioned to help curate this stunning large-scale, minimalist home in North London. The lime-washed walls, warm wooden panelling and polished concrete floors served as a contemporary backdrop for the carefully curated furniture and collectibles.

Description

Lucy worked closely and collaboratively with the client, discovering the family’s heirlooms collected from a life of travelling the world. Contemporary pieces, such as a Joe Armitage floor lamp, and antiques, such as a Japanese kitchen cabinet, all needed to coexist in harmony.

Bringing cohesion to an eclectic mix of cherished belongings, Studio Iro also repurposed and reupholstered existing pieces to give them a new lease of life, using natural fabrics from brands such as Pierre Frey and Rose Uniacke. Lucy’s work created harmony between structure, colour and texture, and made space for each piece to tell its own story.
